Welcome to the Shingon Buddhist Temple

'Talks & Visits'

 'workshops & courses'

Tenjo or Bill has been a Buddhist for 10 years a priest for 7 years and a head priest for 3 years. He is a man of many experiences and talents, although he says he is still working on the guitar.

Being a head priest has many responsibilities and above all with this particular type of       Buddhism the work carried out by priests should be, " Compassion in Action",  or at least    should be working to help others in some form or other.

Tenjo's story as a Buddhist is a particularly interesting one, he has great presence when telling of the journey he has experienced and the many coincidences or universal happenings he has come across. Tenjo is like a warm home made blanket that has been woven together by generations of family, you feel comfortable in his presence and want to know more. His  partner is Tenka who takes him from place to place and organises the other priests  plus the huge garden at the temple.

To have a visit from Tenjo & Tenka please call 01594 544 705 to book. We accept a donation for a visit. All funds are to develop the Temple to help more people from more communities like yours. If cost is a problem  please still give us a call as we are happy to work something out!

If you wish to come for 'tea & talks' at the Temple we ask for donation only, this can be     done as group or as individuals.

We look forward to hearing from you!
